September 28th, 2013 at the Pasco Stake Center

Gather we did.. 'One by One'!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful day. It just felt right and good. There really isn't one word that describes the feeling that surrounded Sept. 28th at the Stake Center. We were happy to be together > doing! We also came so close to reaching our goal of 2000 clean birth kits. The rest will be finished by some Primary girls :) There were beautiful quilts tied, and also some donated as well..

2000 babies/mothers will be blessed/warm with 2 hrs. of service, Sisters!

When I went home that night, my mind was filled with flying white-laced plastic and laughter. It was such a vision watching your actions. There was so much Stake unity, and the tangible love that we could feel in the air will forever be remembered.

The glove crisis.. was so inspiring at how beautiful women just quickly went into town and scattered to find 2000 more gloves. And 4000 gloves came back. Quickly! Can't you picture their hands clutched to their steering wheels praying for help and guidance, and having to glance at their speedometer because the Spirit of the Law was over the Letter of the Law at that moment in time :)  I know that 2 of these women had choice spiritual experiences while getting those gloves. One can barely talk about it without tears streaming.

This service day hasn't stopped just because we cleared the tables, tied the quilts and filled the postal boxes either. The blessings of your service continues to ripple throughout the community/world and the kits haven't even been sent or gotten into the hands of those we are helping.

As of now, I am waiting to hear where these kits will be going and continue rejoicing in the fact that there is so much goodness in our Stake. I grew to love each and every one of you so much. I'll continue to keep you posted..

 That's a wrap.

Until we meet again.. go and do good 'One by One' :)
