130 pair of socks were donated to our Pasco Stake Humanitarian efforts. Since the number one requested items from the homeless is socks, we thought it would be a great idea to fill them with hygiene items and give them to the Union Gospel Mission toward their efforts in providing for the homeless as requested by JustServe.org.
The Pasco Stake women donated washcloths, soap, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste and other misc. items to fill the socks. Completely appreciated :)
On Dec. 4th, the Pasco Stake provided a Christmas celebration dinner for the single adults in our stake. They came early to help fill the socks with the hygiene items. It was wonderful watching them really get in there and assemble and watch them all have a great time.
